Securing by sniffing dog
BGTL is able to offer solutions for securing goods by explosives detector dogs (sniffing dogs) at Basel/Mulhouse airport.
The dogs wander around the goods without damaging them in order to detect any traces of explosives. The dog handler carries out checks and issues the security status of the goods.
It is a fast and efficient method certified by the DGAC (French Directorate General of Civil Aviation) and by the FOCA (Swiss Federal Office of Civil Aviation) allowing the transit of goods by air.
Securing with X-ray machine
Your goods can also be secured through the passage through an X-ray scanner.
The operator checks the shipment for any hazardous items. It shall issue the security status of the goods authorizing their loading on board the aircraft.
RAS cargo securing
Relatively recent, this method of securing allows the verification of large volumes in a short time.
Indeed, a complete semi-trailer can be checked in less than 15 minutes. A vacuum cleaner placed at the rear of the trailer collects particles suspended in the confined air; these particles are then presented to explosives detection dogs. The dog handler then validates the safe status of the entire trailer.
